CHOOSING YOUR ANGEL TREE CHILD
Angel Tree is a wonderful program that connects children to their parent who is in prison. We have the opportunity to make that connection happen by purchasing gifts on behalf of the parent and giving it to their children. You can choose your Angel Tree children by following this link: https://tinyurl.com/CCCAT2022. We are purchasing two gifts for each child, total should be between $30-$40 for the two gifts (if you would like to purchase just one gift, please either partner with a friend or contact Paul to share a child). Please have the gifts brought to the church by December 11 to be prepped for the Angel Tree event on the 18th. Please contact Paul Mast Hewitt with any questions.

HELP SUPPORT OUR MISSIONARIES
The Advent and Christmas season is a wonderful time to bless and encourage our supported missionaries, so we will be collecting monetary donations to send to them. Our missionaries include: the Volands, the Daos, the Richmonds, Kathy Choi-Lee, Maddie MacMath, the Shims, and Greg Jao. If you would like to contribute, you may give via check/cash to the offering basket, or via Zelle. Please submit your contributions by Friday, Dec 9, and note in the memo section as “Missionaries Christmas Gifts.” Thank you for your generosity during this season of celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior!

COVENANT CARES!
This Christmas consider gifts that demonstrate the love and hope of Christ around the world: choose a category in the Covenant Cares gift catalogue and let your family and friends know you are honoring them with this gift. Catalogues will be available in the foyer at church or you can visit the website

FOOD PANTRY UPDATE
We have had an increase in families needing  assistance, so we need to replenish our food pantry. We are looking for donations of toilet paper, kleenex, paper towels, toothpaste, shampoo, deodorant, body wash, soups, tuna, canned chicken, canned vegetables, beans, pasta, pasta sauce, mac & cheese, cereal, oatmeal or frozen meals. Items can be placed in the basket to the left of the counter in the foyer.

WE NEED YOU!
Please prayerfully consider donating your time helping with various aspects of our Sunday worship gathering. There are a number of roles that are available (listed below), and teens and young adults are encouraged to volunteer. Training can be provided! If you would like to volunteer remotely, there are options for you as well! If you are interested, contact Erin Douglass at officeadmin@christcovchurchvp.org
