This Little Light
Christ Covenant Church is a missional church that loves our neighbors in Villa Park. Through our outreach arm, This Little Light, we work with our neighbors and community partners in a variety of ways. This Little Light supports the community by running a food pantry and a family-needs clothing closet. We also love our neighbors by hosting and participating in community resource fairs. These fairs assist families and individuals by directing them to free and discounted resources.
Community Mental Health Resources
While we offer many services through our church, there are many more in our region. Click here for information about resources available in DuPage County.
Food Pantry and Family Closet
Our food pantry provides food, toiletries, personal care items, clothing, and diapers. We also offer financial assistance on a case by case basis through the church’s benevolence fund. Our pantry is a one-stop shop for our community. Providing morning and evening hours with a pantry that offers both food, clothing and personal care items, gives more opportunities to assist those in need who are working and balancing life.
Pantry Hours
1st and 3rd Wednesdays and Thursdays of every month. (Each month’s dates are on our homepage)
Wednesday 4-6 P.M.
Thursday 9-11 A.M.
Please bring a photo ID for food assistance. Sign in is required, and individuals are welcome to receive food assistance twice per month.
Volunteering
If you’re interested in volunteering at the food pantry, fill out this form. Students can earn community service hours.

Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative
We work with the Villa Park Area Early Childhood Collaborative (the Collaborative) to plan fun, resourceful events. These events provide valuable resources that improve our community’s health and well-being. The purpose of the events are:
- Assist our neighbors with food insecurities
- Assist our neighbors by providing personal care items and clothing
- Work with our community partners to give our neighbors fun and resource-filled events that improve their overall health and well-being

Healthy Kids Fair & Healthy for the Holidays
As part of the Collaborative, we participate in the Healthy Kids Fair in the spring and host Healthy for the Holidays in the fall. These large-scale events provide free vital resources for our community such as health screenings, vaccines, winter coats, and other necessary items and services. There are also games and prizes for all ages!
Trunk or Treat

Every year, along with Collaborative friends and other local churches and Christian organizations, we host a Trunk or Treat party! This free event brings churches and neighbors together in a safe space to provide fall fun and free resources for the entire community.
Hosting Community Partners

Throughout the year, our church hosts different community partners and their events and services.
- Frida Community Organization offers their free summer camp in June
- The Villa Park Public Library offers a monthly bilingual storytime for families with toddlers and preschoolers
- We host a regional team of walkers for Catholic Charities’ largest fundraiser, Coldest Night of the Year
***If your organization serves Villa Park or DuPage County and you want to host an event at our church, email our church office.
